The dance team allows the more experienced dancer to put into practice the
techniques learned in the pre-requisite dance classes and focus mainly on
performance. Team members learn a selection of well-choreographed competitive
dances, perform in different styles and are exposed to other performers at
competitions on both regional and national levels.
Dedication and commitment to the team is just one part of the meaning of teamwork.
This is the foundation of a successful performance group. therefore, only students
who are willing to make dance classes, rehearsals and competition a priority over
all other activities will be permitted to compete.
Audition is required. A parents' meeting and initial audition will be held for 2007 in September.
- Divas begin at age 6 and up.
- Divas are placed in teams according to their ability.
- Elite Divas will be selected from within the Diva Groups.
- The Dancin' Divas must maintain their school grades in order to remain on the team.
- Practices are mandatory.
- Ballet is required for all Divas.
- Jumps and Turns class is required for Senior Divas.

Financial Responsibility: |
Competing is very expensive. The parents must be prepared to meet these expenses before allowing
their children to audition. Below is a list of cost considerations.
- Yearly non-refundable Diva fee of $100.00.
- Monthly facility use fee of $10.00.
- Competition fees must be paid one month prior to competition.
- Costumes and dancewear must be paid for when ordered.
- Parents are responsible for all transportation and lodging costs.
- Any fees not on time may cause your account to be charged a $10.00
late fee and may also incur interest charges.
Fundraisers will be held throughout the year to help defray the costs of competitions.
Only those who participate in the fundraiser will receive money towards their competitions.
