Jersey City Dance Academy's
Dance Company
The dance company allows the more experienced dancer to put into practice the techniques learned in the pre-requisite dance classes and focus mainly on performance. Team members learn a selection of well-choreographed competitive dances, perform in different styles and are exposed to other performers at competitions on both regional and national levels.
Dedication and commitment to the team is just one part of the meaning of teamwork. This is the foundation of a successful performance group. therefore, only students who are willing to make dance classes, rehearsals and competition a priority over all other activities will be permitted to compete.
Audition is required. A parents' meeting and initial audition will be held on Saturday, September 27th from 3:30-5pm.
